Technical Lead Maintenance Support - Ardmore The Opportunity: We are seeking a proactive, results-oriented Maintenance Support Technical Lead to join our team at Ardmore. This pivotal role supports our production goals by ensuring that all necessary tooling, Ground Support Equipment (GSE), Inspection, Measuring and Test Equipment (IM&TE), and the Veryon Tracking+ Maintenance Control System are ready and available for use.
You'll contribute to successful, on-time delivery of maintenance outcomes for our customers, preparing resource forecasts and supporting business revenue projections through timely, accurate reporting.
Responsibilities: Collaborate with Production Engineers, Maintenance Planning, and area-specific staff to guarantee on-time service deliverables. Ensure full compliance with CAA NZ regulatory standards and adherence to all prescribed processes and systems, as guided by the Responsible Manager. Drive operational excellence through Lean practices and continuous process improvement. About You: To be successful in this role, it is a requirement to be able to work in a team environment, have well-developed relationship skills as well as good verbal and written skills. You will need to be someone who is able to work autonomously and to tight deadlines and work comfortably in a continuous improvement work environment.
The Skills and Experience Best Suited to This Role: Extensive experience in aircraft maintenance engineering or technical support within aviation. Strong understanding of maintenance management, including systems, planning, and inventory control. Familiarity with CAANZ and other aviation maintenance legislation and regulations. Proven record of enhancing processes to achieve service targets. Knowledge of interdependencies between maintenance, support engineering, and supply chain. Proficiency in maintenance control processes compliant with corporate and regulatory standards. Excellent analytical and strategic problem-solving skills. Ability to resolve service issues promptly, empowering teams to meet accountabilities. Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach and the ability to foster long-lasting relationships. Desirable: Project Management training. Engineering qualification or equivalent experience, with experience in maintenance planning preferred.
