About the role We are currently looking for a Maintenance Supervisor at our Land Based plant. This site services the Shellfish operation for both our Blenheim and Havelock sites. You will be responsible for overseeing the Engineering team, as they maintain all of the engineering systems and equipment on site to minimise downtime and improve overall plant efficiency. Hourly rate ranges from $35 - $50, based on your experience and qualifications. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for: Designing and implementing work schedules for the engineering team. Inspecting and assessing the work done by the engineering staff. Reading and interpreting the design schematics to ensure the proper installation of machinery and equipment. Troubleshooting major system failures and equipment malfunctions. Maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Following the health and safety/food safety procedures. For this role, you'll need: To be a Trade Certified Fitter/Turner/Welder, or Level 4 Maintenance & Diagnostics. Proven Industrial maintenance experience, preferably in food production and/or relevant work experience and proven successes in preventative and reactive maintenance. Good time management, organisational skills and enthusiasm for getting it right. Proven Health and Safety practices as a daily priority. With Talley's, you get: Great working conditions.
