You will be responsible for the delivery of all building, plant and utilities maintenance throughout the Campus, ensuring a high level of compliance with legislative requirements and University protocols. You will have a strong understanding of asset management and how that fits with a tertiary organisation.

You will champion the Property Services by communicating with customer groups to ensure high quality services are provided, and service delivery timeframes are achieved. You will support and manage staff and contractors to provide services and support to our customers. You will actively contribute to the Property Services leadership team and the wider team culture.

You will understand the legislative requirements associated with property services, including but not limited to the Building Act, Resource Management Act, Education Act as well as Health & Safety Act.

You will be able to demonstrate your knowledge and experience in facilities or construction management as you strategically lead the delivery of the University's maintenance services. Showcase your strong communication and interpersonal skills as you manage a diverse portfolio of buildings and facilities within the University.

Using your strong organisational and project management skills you will have an eye for detail and be able to meet tight timeframes. As an active problem solver and forward thinker, you will seek to make systems and processes more efficient and effective.

With a passion for high quality service delivery you will build strong and effective relationships with key stakeholders and ensure customer satisfaction.
