Job Description AFFCO Wairoa currently has an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Planner to join their engineering team.
Reporting to the Plant Engineer, the Maintenance Planner will monitor general maintenance for all departments, coordinate contractors, source quotes for projects, monitor the R&M log controls and liaise with Supervisors to ensure that production requirements are met.
Responsibilities include: Planning all R&M jobs and ensure appropriate parts are available Purchase order completion for the trades department Contractor Management, ensuring all liability agreements and insurance details are kept up to date Manage electrical and mechanical inventory ensuring stock levels are maintained Invoice/packing slip/PO reconciliation for payment Ordering all parts Oversee and manage compliance register and installation of MEX completed for the Trades Department The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and skills: Strong leadership skills, ability to build an engaged team and effectively delegate tasks Ability to minimise production downtime Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple competing priorities Extensive prior maintenance experience in an industrial environment A mechanical trade qualification (electrical knowledge would be an advantage) Comfortable working with modern CMMS systems Previous experience with MEX would be an advantage The successful candidate will be rewarded with: A supportive, well-established preventative maintenance team The ability to make the role their own and autonomously manage day to day operations A wide variety of responsibilities, balanced between computer and hands-on work Opportunities for career development and advancement Competitive remuneration package Additional Information If you believe you are the right person to take on this opportunity, please apply online today, or come in and see us at our plant at 71 Hunter Brown Street, Wairoa 4108.
