Company DescriptionFixed Term Opportunity - 5/9/24 - 10/11/2440 hours guaranteed per week.Thursday to MondayAssist in the Maintenance function in the Hotel to protect and maintain, ensure safety and comfort of guests during their stay; and allow team members to effectively and safely carry out their roles of caring for our guests.Job DescriptionCarry out preventive maintenance throughout the hotel to ensure standards are maintained for guest comfort.Prioritise and carry out maintenance as requested by Departments on a daily basis to ensure the smooth running of all hotel departments.Be responsible for the testing of fire alarms, emergency lighting etc. on a routine basis as required by local Council and Fire Service.Liaise with the Chief Engineer regarding use of contractors within the Hotel, ensuring work is to the standard required by the Company and manufacture specifications.Liaise closely with Front Desk and Housekeeping regarding 'down' rooms to expedite a quick turn around and return to inventory.QualificationsPrevious experience in a maintenance/property management advantageous;Organises time and work efficiently;Excellent communication skills.Applicant must hold working rights for New Zealand.Additional InformationDaily staff meals provided.Supportive and friendly working environment.Ongoing reward and recognition incentives and awards.Opportunities for further development and worldwide career progression within Accor.Work for a world-leading Global hotel company.Refer a friend incentive.Free gym access and ski hire.Our Commitment To Diversity & InclusionWe are an inclusive company, and our ambition is to attract, recruit and promote diverse talent.
