The opportunity
We have a full-time vacancy for an experienced person to take responsibility for the effective and efficient maintenance strategy of Council's water, stormwater and wastewater assets.
To set you up for success, you'll have
5 plus years experience in 3 waters industry with a focus on proactive maintenance planning, scheduling and contact payment processing.
Recommended: New Zealand Diploma in Engineering: Mechanical Engineering or another higher education Diploma/Degree to an equivalent standard.
Project management skills in the 3 waters industry.
Experience with the use of asset management maintenance software common to the 3 waters industry organizations such as Maximo, Infor, Asset finder, etc.
Proven experience of working with 3 waters contractors and maintenance service providers.
Experience with searching and analysing maintenance data collected by maintenance software to be able to report on and make recommendation on pro-active maintenance works.
Highly developed knowledge and use of analytical software such as Excel or similar.
Sound time management skills.
Good written and oral communication skills.
