Position Overview:
We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Inventory & Maintenance Planner specializing in building, maintaining and organising planning systems and inventory stocks for our plant. This role is integral to our operations, ensuring optimal inventory management and maintenance scheduling to support seamless production processes and meet customer demands.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain comprehensive inventory plans for dairy and infant formula products, ensuring adequate stock levels to meet production requirements and customer orders. Collaborate closely with production, procurement, and logistics teams to optimize inventory levels, minimize stockouts, and reduce excess inventory. Utilize inventory management software to track stock movements, analyze inventory trends, and generate accurate forecasts. Coordinate with suppliers to manage inbound shipments, resolve delivery discrepancies, and maintain healthy supplier relationships. Plan and schedule maintenance activities for production equipment, ensuring minimal disruption to operations while maximizing equipment uptime and longevity. Conduct regular audits of inventory levels, equipment condition, and maintenance schedules to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency gains. Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements to maintain a safe and compliant work environment. Responsible for driving a culture of continuous improvement through the Services team, supported as required by relevant departments and project teams.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field. Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments and with external stakeholders. Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision in inventory management and maintenance planning. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards relevant to the dairy and infant formula industry is preferred.
