Maintenance & Handyperson

Details of the offer

About the Role:
Ensure the facility and grounds are well maintained and presented. Manage external contractors. Undertake minor carpentry, painting, and redecorating tasks. Ability to build rapport with elderly residents when required.

Duties include:

Ongoing maintenance in accordance with the annual maintenance plan
Efficiently completing all maintenance requirements to approved standards
Ensuring all tools are in good working order

Skills and Experience:

Organised, with attention to detail and a systematic, proactive approach
Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to attend a course)
Trade Certificate preferred (but not essential)
Current NZ Driver's License
