Maintenance / Handy Person

True South Seafood – Warkworth, North IslandAre you a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a talent for maintaining and enhancing facilities? We're looking for a new team member to help support the ongoing maintenance of our Oyster Factory and land bases in the Warkworth area. This role is vital for ensuring our facilities remain operational.Minimum of 15 hours per week - Part Time / Permanent RoleFlexibility required; hours may vary based on maintenance needs, including possible early morning starts and weekend work.Key Responsibilities:Perform routine maintenance tasks.Undertake general handyman duties, including repairs and troubleshooting.Work collaboratively with team members to address facility-related issues.Qualifications:Previous experience in facilities maintenance, caretaking, or handyman work is preferred.Knowledge of maintenance techniques and general repairs.Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to work independently.Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail.Ability to handle physical tasks and work in various environments.Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.Additional Requirements:Applicants must have the legal right to live and work in New Zealand.Reliable transportation is essential due to the location of this role (land bases in Warkworth & Kaipara).If you're a motivated individual passionate about keeping facilities in top shape, we'd love to hear from you!
