Maintenance Gardener

We are looking for a reliable and professional Maintenance Gardener to join our team in Halswell, Cashmere, and surrounding areas.
This role involves maintaining gardens at residential sites for residents with intellectual disabilities.
You will be working independently, driving the company vehicle, and ensuring high standards of work.

What You'll Do: Maintain gardens, lawns, and outdoor spaces (mowing, trimming, weeding, planting).Perform general upkeep tasks (mulching, edging, leaf collection).Drive the company vehicle between sites (safe, courteous driving, strictly following road rules).Work independently, unsupervised, and to a high standard.Interact professionally with residents, respecting their privacy and dignity.Maintain tools and equipment.Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.What You Need: Previous gardening or grounds maintenance experience.Full, clean Class 1 driver's licence (essential).Sparkling clean police record.Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.Strong interpersonal skills and professional attitude.Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30am - 4:30pm (some flexibility).No weekend work.Why Join Us? $27 - $30 per hour pay rate.Start as soon as Monday, January 20th.Potential for ongoing work.Supportive, friendly team with a focus on respect and professionalism.This role is highly sought-after and expected to fill quickly!
