Mechanical Maintenance Fitter - SITE BASED PERM ROLES

Platinum Recruitment are excited to be partnering again with our client in their search for Maintenance Fitters. We are after some new talent to join them due to expansion AND retirement of some long standing talent.
THE ROLE Maintenance Fitter Shift roles. Your focus will be on minimising downtime of the production plant, so our processing team can get on with what they do best. There will be projects at times & on-going opportunities for you to upskill, train & grow in your career here.
Permanent role in one of NZ's best regional locations where we are fortunate to be surrounded by empty beaches & mountains. All whilst being able to provide affordable housing & fantastic educational facilities.
Requirements Minimum 3 years maintenance fitter experience
NZ Level 4 Trade Cert Fitter/ Welder or NZQA equivalent
Demonstrated abilities for fault finding & diagnostics
Excellent communication skills for loud, busy site
Availability for on-call roster
Immediate NZ work rights - NZ work visa/ Residency / Citizenship
