The Role The Maintenance Department's goal is to ensure all company plant and machinery is maintained and improved for optimal performance.
You will be part of a team responsible for undertaking scheduled preventative, corrective, and breakdown maintenance work for our three work sites.
You may also be required to assist in the installation of new plant.
Key responsibilities for this role include: Supplying preventative maintenance services across the site operations.
Diagnosing and fixing mechanical equipment failures.
Increasing uptime on all plant machinery.
Shifts are a 12-hour pattern, 4 days on and 4 days off.
Two shift cycles of 5:30am – 5:30pm and 10am-10pm.
Our Ideal Candidate You will be a strong communicator and interpersonal relationship builder.
You will have knowledge and experience in industrial environments.
You will have a high work ethic and a commitment to Health and Safety practices.
In addition, you would have: Qualifications as a Fitter Turner, Maintenance Fitter, or similar.
Experience and good understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics.
Experience and good understanding of mechanical systems including drive systems, transmission systems, and bearings.
Reasonable welding ability.
Heavy industrial experience with rotating equipment.
