Our client is looking for Maintenance Fitters in the Hawke's Bay area at King Street, Hastings. About Role: Perform all aspects of mechanical and preventative types of maintenance on gearboxes, conveyors, pumps, kettles, elevators and all associated equipment. Troubleshooting and ongoing adjustments to ensure line efficiency. Conduct machine/product changeovers. Stripping down, inspection, replacement and reassembly of machines. Prioritize breakdown and PM activities with the weekly schedule. Understand principle centered coaching leadership and humble questioning. Organize and execute duties as directed by the Process Owner. Actively participate in team goal setting/implementation to ensure that we are a low cost, high quality producer. Ensure quality of our products and workplace by following all procedures and guidelines. Comply with all established GMP, HACCP guidelines, housekeeping responsibilities and QRMP operating procedures. Ability to understand line performance and improve on existing standards. Flexibility to adjust schedule to work with employees from all shifts as required. Work overtime as necessary. Perform other related duties as assigned. Your Key Skills: Practical mechanical experience in usage of hand and power tools. Electrical knowledge and experience with sensors and machine timing. Attention to detail, patient and methodical. Certified in LOTO or willing to undertake training within first month of joining. Work as a team member to solve problems. Basic level computer ability. Experience / Licenses Required For Role: Technical schooling/NZQA Level 4. Limited electrical license advantageous. Proven previous work experience in similar field.
