Maintenance Fitter

Maintenance FitterWe are currently looking for a Maintenance Fitter to join our maintenance department in the timber industry based in Te Puke.The position is responsible for maintenance of mechanically functioning equipment and project planning and implementation. You will oversee installation, operation, maintenance and repair of all machinery and equipment.Interpret drawings and execute project plansPerform regular preventative maintenance on machines and equipmentRestoring, repairing, rebuilding or replacing faulty components and partsComplete repairs and perform scheduled maintenanceDiagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjustEnsure health and safety standards are always adhere toQualifications:Mechanical Engineering (Level 4)4+ years related experience and / or training in mechanical engineeringGood knowledge of MS office productsExposure to Dynastar software or similarThis position is on a rotating day / night shift roster, Monday to Friday, with rotating on call weekends.
