Maintenance Fitter

Hours per week: at least 30 hours per week Employment type: full-time, permanent Location: AucklandHourly rate: $30-$36 
Duties:

Regularly inspect and maintain concrete pump equipment to ensure proper operation. 
Repair and troubleshoot mechanical issues in concrete pump systems  
Evaluate equipment performance and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and safety. 
Perform regular servicing of equipment and parts to minimize the potential malfunction.  
Accurately document all maintenance and repair activities, adhering to company policies and regulatory standards. 
Manage maintenance supplies and tools, ensuring inventory is sufficient and handy.   

Requirements:

A qualification equivalent to NZQF Level 4 in a relevant field (such as mechanical/engineering/maintenance) or above;
At least three years of relevant work experience may substitute for the qualification 
Good understanding of mechanical systems, with a willingness to learn new techniques.
Able to catch minor issues before they escalate, ensuring equipment reliability.
Clearly communicates with team members and follows instructions accurately.
The successful candidates must not have any criminal convictions and be able to pass a drug test
