Maintenance Fitter Full-time Job Description We have a fantastic opportunity for a Maintenance Fitter to join Auckland Drum Sustainability Services, a subsidiary of the multinational PACT Group PTY. About the Role: This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Fitter. You will report to the Site Manager and be responsible for day to day repair and preventative maintenance across a broad range of equipment in two factories located in Avondale and Penrose. This role also requires someone who enjoys undertaking projects where you can make your mark. Your week will be an average of 45 hours, from time to time, by request, this may include a Saturday, as with the seasonal or project requirement of the company. Flexibility to work additional hours as required to meet changes in demand would be advantageous. What you'll need to succeed: Relevant Trade Qualification Proven hands on experience as a Maintenance Fitter in a manufacturing/production environment Experience in plant maintenance, preventative, predictive and reactive maintenance is a must A proactive attitude to make sure that the production departments experience minimal downtime due to engineering/maintenance requirements Demonstrate analytical, problem solving skills in mechanical systems Demonstrate safe working practices and application in a maintenance service work environment.
