We are looking for experienced Maintenance Fitters/Engineers to join the Maintenance Team for our Thames Sawmill site. Tuesday to Saturday dayshift with some overtime available. Our ideal candidates are self-starters who will consistently deliver a high-quality standard of engineering work with the right attitude
Experience in sawmill maintenance of similar production environment would be an advantage but is not essential.
The role: Attend breakdowns minimising plant downtime.Scheduled preventative maintenance & pm checks.Greasing and lubrication tasks.Project work.Improving plant reliability to reduce downtimeWorkshop repairables including machining, welding & fabrication.Requirements: Maintenance & diagnostics L4 trade qualified or similarFull NZ drivers license.Forklift license.
