We pride ourselves on our strong customer service focus, attention to detail, and our track record of supplying on-time and to customer specifications.We are currently looking for a capable Maintenance Engineer to join our on-site team as Foreman. Reporting to our Engineering Manager and responsible for a team of Engineers, your primary focus will be to manage and support your team effectively to eliminate and minimise downtime associated with plant and machinery. Where needed, you will also be expected to assist 'on the tools'.We are looking for a trade-qualified generalist with leadership experience, who is skilled across a range of plant systems including infrastructure and equipment within a food processing environment.This role is an excellent opportunity for an organised, hands-on person who prides themselves on providing a responsive breakdown service while maintaining progress on a range of preventative maintenance activities.You will have sound experience in:MIG & stainless TIG weldingHydraulics and pneumaticsElectrical experience would be advantageousA full-time salaried role, the hours of work will generally be 7am until 4.00pm Monday to Friday, with some flexibility around start and finish times. There may be the occasional requirement to attend call-outs and perform rostered Saturday work.Applicants must have either a Mechanical or Electrical engineering background, supported by a qualification of NZCE or equivalent. You will hold a full NZ drivers licence and be able to prove you have the right to work in NZ.
