Maintenance Engineer - Wiri, Friendly EnvironmentMaintenance Engineer - Smaller family type environment based in WiriThis well-known iconic food brand is looking for someone to join their small team, that enjoys all aspects of handy man work including skill engineering and electrical work. We are seeking the right person for a permanent afternoon shift role with our client.Benefits of working in this roleShifts: Monday to Friday, 02:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with occasional Saturday work.Onsite Parking - Enjoy the convenience of free parking at the site.Cafeteria Onsite - Grab a bite to eat without leaving the premises.Friendly & Supportive Culture - A collaborative work environment that values your input.Our client is committed to providing a safe, engaging, and innovative workplace. As an Engineer in their team, you'll be responsible for ensuring regular maintenance and servicing of plant equipment while contributing to key projects that keep operations running smoothly.Key Responsibilities:Perform engineering and electrical maintenance on plant equipment - handy man work will also be required as with any maintenance work!Ensure repairs and servicing are completed within allocated timeframes.Manage electrical strategies to identify and resolve issues on-site.Contribute to project work, ensuring timely completion and meeting quality specifications.Maintain and improve site H&S and operational and environmental systems - safety is first!Regularly attend project meetings, providing valuable input and updates.What We're Looking For:NZQA Level 4 Certification in Mechanical and Electrical EngineeringElectrical Service Technician (EST) or EWRB registered Electrician with mechanical expertise.Previous experience as a Maintenance Fitter preferred, with hands-on machinery maintenance and repair skills - Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills for efficient issue diagnosis and repair is needed.Naturally dealing with food, you will need the ability to work in a cold environment - lifting items of weight, standing for periods, and repeating tasks - as maintenance work would require!Strong ability to work effectively in a small team - you will need excellent communication skills to engage with colleagues and management.Understanding and experience in health and safety and compliance - would be expected in maintenance roles.If you're ready to take on this exciting engineering role, apply today by emailing your cv on ****** and start your career with our client!
