Supplying a global market, 90% of our materials are exported with the majority sold into mainland Europe.We are searching for an innovative Maintenance Engineer Manager to join our team and ensure quality products are delivered on time. The Engineering Manager's responsibilities will include supervising a small team of mixed skills, maintain control processes, writing up reports, diagnosing and resolving problems with equipment, and providing training and general support to the engineering team.Purpose of the Maintenance Engineer role:To ensure the availability of operational assets through the successful delivery of a Total Productive Maintenance schedule and effective response to unplanned maintenance issues so that production downtime is kept to a minimum and health and safety standards are met.Key Accountabilities:To schedule and deliver against a planned preventative maintenance schedule to minimise chance of machine breakdown.To repair or resolve machine issues in a timely manner to keep loss of production to a minimum.To manage consignment stock and order necessary parts required for repair and maintenance of machines to ensure repairs are completed in the quickest time possible.To keep accurate records of all machine breakdowns and produce reports for Engineering KPIs.To assist in factory improvement and project work to ensure services and facilities are installed correctly.To carry out necessary Facility work.To host and ensure contractors are site inducted and have approved RAMS.Requirements for the role:Served a recognised apprenticeship and attained an appropriate electrical/mechanical qualification (City and Guilds, NVQ level 3 mechanical engineering).Able to demonstrate success in maintaining and repairing Electrical and/or Mechanical equipment, preferably in extrusion / T-dies / rollers / chillers.Flexible communication skills.Ability to make decisions.PC Literate (Microsoft Office packages).Ability to interpret drawings, manuals and technical literature to fault-find.Ability and willingness to respond flexibly to working hours in time critical situations.Benefits:25 Days holiday plus Bank HolidaysDeath in service cover (after 1 year of service)Health cashback planBenenden Healthcare (after 1 year of service)Cycle to Work schemePerformance based BonusPlease click on the APPLY button to send your CV and Cover Letter for this role.Candidates with the experience or relevant job titles of: Test and Inspection Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Electrician, Multi Skilled Electrical Technician, Technician, Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Installation Engineer, Electrical Tester, Machine Electrician, Field Service Electrician, Service Engineer, Industrial Electrician, Mechanical Engineer, Repair Technician, Mobile Engineer, Electrical Field Service Engineer may also be considered for this role. #J-18808-Ljbffr
