We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join our Maintenance team.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the primary function of this role is to ensure that safe and cost-effective storage and transfer of the fuels within Terminal facilities are available to operations through good engineering practice and timely maintenance of all plant and equipment.
Provide engineering support to our Operations and Projects teams. Ensure plant and equipment meet regulatory requirements including those for Major Hazard Facilities (MHF's).
The key focus for this position is a relentless focus on asset integrity, reliability and asset performance improvement in order to optimise maintenance costs whilst maintaining availability.
What will you be doing?
Be responsible for the day-to-day activities of the Mechanical, Civil, Instrumentation/DCS, Electrical trades.
Provide troubleshooting support to operations and resolve technical issues.
Efficiently organise and plan work within the CMMS to meet company goals of having an acceptable PM to CM work type split, ensuring that the work campaigns are being organised and managed effectively.
Help ensure that the Maintenance team are meeting their targets of being a World Class operator such as good reliability, no over dues, spill free site, etc.
Ensure all relevant safety objectives and regulatory requirements are achieved.
Support, monitor and direct engineering consultants in the development and maintenance of mechanical, electrical and control systems.
Help provide subject matter expertise arranging advice from specialist service providers where required.
What will you bring?
A bachelor's degree or suitable engineering diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or similar related degree).
Minimum 5 years related engineering experience.
Good knowledge of mechanical, electrical and instrumentation equipment and system design and its application in automated industrial designs in Hazardous areas.
Knowledge and use of CMMS systems.
A working knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment design and operation.
Demonstrated ability to efficiently maintain engineering documentation.
Apply critical thinking, with exceptional problem-solving skills.
