We are on the hunt for Maintenance Engineers to join a thriving Kiwi business Ngauranga Gorge. Our client is a leading provider in their space and is committed to delivering top-quality services and solutions to their customers.The successful candidate/s will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery and equipment to ensure optimal production and operation efficiency. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong technical background and excellent problem-solving skills.Key DetailsThe hours of work are Wednesday to Saturday 5.30am – 5pm, Sunday to Wednesday 5.30am – 5pm or Monday – Friday 4.30pm – 3.30amHourly rate of $45 - $50 per hour depending on experienceResponsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance and inspections on machinery and equipmentTroubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systemsEnsure all equipment and systems are operating efficiently and safelyMaintain accurate records of maintenance and repair workCollaborate with other departments to improve production processes and equipment reliabilityDevelop and implement preventive maintenance schedulesOrder and maintain inventory of spare parts and toolsTrain and mentor junior maintenance staffAdhere to all health and safety regulations and company policiesWe are looking forLevel 4 Trade certificate in maintenance and diagnostics – this hands-on experience is non-negotiableKnowledge of hydraulics and pneumaticsWelding ability Tig, Mig, MMAWGood knowledge of sound engineering principles, repairs, and maintenance procedures on a large industrial processing site or a passion to learn in this environmentExperience in regular maintenance, servicing of machinery, and routine checksThe ability to analyse problems and implement effective solutions in a timely manner and communicate this with those around youExperience in managing the maintenance of critical sparesThis is a great opportunity to join an organisation that genuinely cares for and supports their staff.
