We are looking for two experienced Maintenance Engineers to join our busy team at our Mangere, Auckland site. These are shift work positions, working both days and nights.
The Role
Key responsibilities of this role include:
Ultimate responsibility for the mechanical reliability of the site's processing equipment on a shift-by-shift basis
Providing core mechanical maintenance services to our manufacturing
Monitoring key performance indicators of our highly automated processes such as plant reliability and maintenance spend
Writing and maintaining procedures

Skills and Experience
Ideally, we are looking for candidates with the following attributes:
At least 5 years' experience of plant maintenance, ideally within the dairy industry
Mechanical NZCE, NZQA Level 4, or Trade Certificate is required
A background in food manufacturing environment and experience with Food Safety and HACCP systems is desirable
Experience in root cause analysis programmes
Ability to build relationships and demonstrate strong communication skills
Computer literate in basic Microsoft applications
Strong organisational and planning skills
