The Role
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Blue Sky team as a Maintenance Engineer. In this role, you will primarily oversee the day-to-day operation of the mechanical equipment on site and perform essential plant repairs and maintenance tasks. In this dynamic environment, each day presents new challenges and opportunities for professional growth and upskilling.
Experience/Knowledge and Skills:
Ideally, you will be a trade-qualified Maintenance & Diagnostics Engineer; however, we would consider and support a candidate who has almost completed their trade certification or who has a proven track record on the tools, as well as:
Experience in regular maintenance, servicing of machinery, and routine checks
Refrigeration experience would be an advantage
Be adaptable to change where no two days are the same
High standard of Health and Safety practices
Ability to respond quickly and prioritize when things arise
Experience within a Food or Manufacturing environment would be advantageous
Ability to work shift work
