Our maintenance team is responsible for ensuring our equipment is on and running to support our client's needs.
They are a team of technically experienced individuals, with backgrounds in various engineering specialisations.
The team are a cohesive global unit that work on rosters, with time onsite, time working from our office or home, and time off to recover and rest (wellbeing is important to us).
Housing and transport out of Palmerston provided when on roster.The team is regularly working with our project managers, physicists, and is responsible for being our face to the customer.What You Will DoMaintenance and service of PhotonAssayTM in Macraes, New Zealand that includes mechanical, electrical and software aspects.Scheduled monthly maintenance as well as responding to breakdowns on short notice to minimise downtime and maximise availability.Generating detailed reports about the maintenance and repairs completed.Technical support service for the installations via telephone, email and remote computer login for troubleshooting and performance checks during and out of office hours as agreed.
This will involve liaising with support staff at Chrysos' headquarters and our technology partner in China.Training of the customer on the safe operation and maintenance of the equipment.Monitoring system performance and providing engineering solutions to improve design and operational problems on the PhotonAssayTM units.Perform initial and ongoing design reviews.Testing equipment for performance and compliance with safety regulations.Analyse production data and take appropriate action for continuous improvement.Manage projects and activities in line with agreed scope and timeframes and work collaboratively to maximise project outcomes.Supervising contractors/ labourers and managing installation or repairs making sure all engineering specifications and protocols are followed.Assisting in the development and continual improvement of the processes associated with the maintenance and service of PhotonAssayTM systems.Assisting in the installation and commissioning of new installations through organising and managing project labour and delivery of materials and equipment.Procuring, testing and commissioning of specialised components.Spares inventory management and record keeping on site.Supporting the development of a strong WHS and inclusive culture.
