We have a progressive manufacturing operation with complex machinery and automation underpinning the importance of a capable and proactive engineering and maintenance team. As such we are now looking to appoint the following new role:
MAINTENANCE ENGINEER Trade Qualified
Mechanical Maintenance and/or Diagnostics Experience
Great Working Hours + Penal Rates + On Call Allowance Roster
Alaron Products is looking for an experienced and suitably qualified tradesperson to support the installation, general maintenance, and repair of a variety of equipment within its manufacturing operation.
The successful applicant will possess the following skills and attributes:
Strong maintenance/preventative maintenance and diagnostic skills.
The potential to lead and supervise a small team.
Innate knowledge of automation preferably within a manufacturing and critical hygiene environment.
Ability to Tig weld and have experience in light fabrication.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong working relationships.
Practical attitude toward safety in the workplace.
The ability to work alone and react to plant and equipment issues in a responsive and positive manner.
A valid driver's license.
In association with the Engineering & Maintenance Manager and Team Leader, you will be pivotal to the installation of new machinery and equipment, troubleshooting and executing preventative maintenance schedules to minimise production downtime. The role would suit someone from a manufacturing maintenance engineering background particularly if they are looking for a good work/life balance, no travel to work sites, etc. Alaron provides a great work environment, offers free health insurance after 12 months of employment and has a no car allowance scheme which can earn you $5 per day.
