Below is a brief description of this vacancyThis page outlines the vacancy and the key skills and responsibilities for the role.Maintenance EngineerReference: 6688115Permanent full timeThis is an exciting and rewarding position helping to make a difference in people's lives by ensuring the maintenance of the buildings, plant, and equipment in our residential homes and other premises.You will be responsible for:Ensuring all Laura Fergusson Brain Injury Trust's land, facilities, plant, mechanical and electrical equipment is maintained, compliant with the relevant standards, and fit for purpose.Managing your repair and maintenance budget and ensuring that planned and ad hoc maintenance is completed on time and to a high standard.Managing any contractors coming on site to undertake maintenance and repairs.Coordinating fleet vehicle maintenance schedules including servicing and WOF's.Providing leadership and direction for the Maintenance person.Ka whiwhi koe i te aha/ What you will get in return:Competitive pay rate.A friendly team-focused work environment.Ongoing professional development and training.Corporate discounts including gym membership at corporate rates.Easy access to on-road parking.Ko wai koe/About You:You will hold a relevant mechanical or electrical tertiary trade qualification with a current practising certificate.Have a minimum of 5 years of experience.Experience essential in the maintenance of older buildings.Highly effective organisational and time management skills.Willing to work to our values:We care.We are respectful.We are inclusive.We do it right.The Laura Fergusson Brain Injury Trust is an independent, not-for-profit, community rehabilitation and residential support provider.
