By partnering with global brands and local dairy producers, we integrate supply chain efficiencies and sustainable practices into all our designs and manufacturing processes.Job DescriptionAbout this opportunityWe are currently looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join the existing engineering team. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this role will be to carry out the preventative maintenance programme for manufacturing and site plant, and to perform fault finding and diagnostic work on equipment and apply appropriate repairs. It is also to ensure site services are running at all times on a 24 x 7 basis and that site buildings and infrastructure are maintained to a good standard.Your key responsibilities will be:Participate fully in the Pact Group Health & Safety programmePreventative Maintenance of plant and equipment as per manufacturers specificationFault finding, diagnostics and mechanical repairs.Site infrastructure maintenanceAssistance with project implementationQualificationsTrade qualified Maintenance and Diagnostics engineer (or equivalent engineering trade qualification) example: Fitter & Turner.3 years Previous Experience in a manufacturing environment, including experience with hydraulics, pneumatics.Excellent fault finding and diagnostic skill.Excellent teamwork and communication skillsSelf-motivated and ability to work unattendedAdherence to safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environmentHave some experience with milling machines and lathes.Additional InformationWhy Join Us?Regular daytime 40 working hours per week - Monday to FridayFull time position + KiwiSaver + offer various additional benefitsOpportunities for professional growth and development.1:1 mentoring by supportive industry leaders + tailored development planIf you're ready to use your engineering expertise to drive change and support the future of sustainable packaging, we want to hear from you!How to apply:If this role sounds like you, please click on the apply button and follow the prompts.
