Maintenance Engineer

Lowie Recruitment is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team in East Tamaki, reporting to the Engineering Manager. You will be responsible for maintaining equipment, buildings, and services to ensure operational efficiency, while upholding safety and quality standards.What we offer:

Our consultants go above and beyond to be fair, lead you to success, care for your well-being and prioritise your safety.Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

Resolve mechanical breakdowns with production teams
Perform Preventative Maintenance and improve PM plans
Report equipment issues in CMMS and complete scheduled work orders
Manage spare parts inventory with the Engineering Planner
Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and support continuous improvement projects

The ideal candidate will have:

Trade certification in fitting, turning, and machining
3+ years of plant and equipment maintenance experience
Proficient with CMMS and problem-solving tools like RCA or FMECA
Strong planning, problem-solving skills, and ability to multitask
