Having recently completed a large expansion of our South Auckland site, we are looking to the future to build on our successes and expand our horizonsABOUT THIS ROLEWe operate/maintain fully automated industrial machinery that requires in-depth knowledge of PLC-driven compound control systems, and good mechanical understanding we utilize a wide variety of machines from Softgel-, hard-shell encapsulation, bottling, and labeling machines to compressed air and pneumatic systems in our plant. We are looking for a person with previous experience in the pharmaceuticals or nutraceuticals industries who are able to identify faults in machinery to ensure we experience the least downtime during production.This is a Permanent, Full-time role working Monday - Friday, 2:30pm - 11:00pm. The job involves all the activities related to the maintenance and installation of machinery equipment and facilities.Role Specific TasksPreventive and Predictive maintenance of machines.Creating SOP's for Machine operation.Responsible for Staff training.Coordination with machine suppliers and contractors and execute FAT (Factory acceptance test) at OEM site.Designing, plans, control diagrams, and approving drawings as per new pieces of machinery required in the plant.Optimizes maintenance strategies. Responsible for analyzing equipment, and operating data.Redesigning or modification of machines or components according to production requirements or to increase machine efficiencies.Establishes and monitors programs for critical equipment analysis and condition monitoring techniques.Maintenance of compressed air handling system for pneumatic and hydraulic machine operations and recording data for getting optimum output.Ensure machines operate safely according to NZ safety regulations.Developing user-required specifications for manufacturing and determining materials, equipment, piping, material flows, capacities, and layout of plants and systems.WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORWe're looking for a capable and disciplined professional, who's aligned with our values, and committed to delivering an excellent experience to our customers.Minimum 2 years experience in the manufacturing environmentNatural Health industry knowledge is desirableExperience with Capsule Encapsulation machineryMechanical Engineering Trade Qualification or similar trade with fitting and turning experience in an FMCG industryWHAT IS ON OFFERAt NZHM, we followed our passion and instinct.
