Maintenance Engineer

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:

Handle and deliver engineering safe systems of work.
Perform and coordinate contractors for preventative maintenance activities and routine plant monitoring.
Respond to alarms from the Building Management System (BMS) and respond to facilities/utilities breakdowns.
Coordinate maintenance access to production and lab equipment with collaborators.
Carry out engineering technical investigations and other investigations as per directive from Supervisor/Manager.
Perform any other task assigned by the Supervisor.

Internal: Manufacturing, Quality
External: Third-party suppliers, Contractors, Regulatory agencies, Local councils

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma in mechanical, electrical, or automation.
Proven experience in an engineering function preferably within an industrial environment.


Skills & Attributes:

Ideally, the candidate will hold an electrical workers' registration; this is not essential.
Ability to handle ambiguity.

Other Job Requirements:
Follow EHS policies and procedures and ensure a safe workplace environment. The position may require you to participate in on-call work. If you are on call, you are required to be available for immediate return to work outside of your normal and regular work pattern. Should this be a requirement of your position, there will be remuneration as per the policy.
