Through the support of the Maintenance Shift Team Leader, the purpose of this role is to proactively prevent and predict plant deterioration, correct any plant deterioration, and conduct emergency repairs in a safe and timely fashion.
The Maintenance Technician will follow directions from the Shift Team Leader in prioritising tasks and will carry out maintenance tasks as directed by the Engineering Lead Team.
Weekend Shift (Rotational): Weekend Night - Friday, Saturday and Sunday – 6pm to 6am
Weekend Day - Saturday, Sunday and Monday – 6 am to 6 pm
Responsibilities As a Maintenance Technician – Electrical, you will be responsible to:
Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance work according to job work lists and according to agreed schedules, providing feedback to Maintenance Planner.Carry out prioritised emergency repairs in a timely and orderly fashion.Use SAP in searching for spares, materials, history, documentation, and failure reports.Use SAP to raise WOs, order/reserve spares materials and services.Feedback into SAP work history including the appropriate failure codes with aim 85% trade utilisation.Participate in call-out if required.Participate in failure review meetings.Support projects and breakdowns as required.Assist with day-to-day supervision of sub-contractors as required.Work as part of the Shift Team and follow direction from the shift leader, perform Shift Handovers to incoming shift for breakdowns as required.Show due diligence in all areas affected by the OSH and environmental requirements.Ensure appropriate procedures and processes are used to minimize environmental risk.Ensure a safe workplace/working environment for self and others.Wear appropriate PPE at all times required.Follow procedures for hazard identification and risk control and actively identify and control hazards.Report all accidents, incidents and near misses in a timely fashion.Qualifications You will have:
Trade Certificate - Qualified and Licensed Electrician Level 4NZ EWRB Practicing licenceComputer literacy in basic MS-Office suiteExperience of working on SAP CMMSRelated experience in a FMCG process industryPassion for health, safety & environmentPassion for quality of workCustomer focus attitudeYou will be:
