About the role Part of the Asset Management Team, this newly created role is responsible for ensuring Genesis' LPG depot and delivery agent depots remain compliant with relevant regulations and in achieving operational KPIs through effective asset management and operational practices - safely, reliably and cost effectively.
In this interesting and hands-on role, your duties will include:
Ensuring all our delivery depots and customer sites within the area of responsibility comply with their respective Location Compliance Certificate (LCC) conditions.Supporting various asset management programs including projects ranging from small improvement works to supporting internal LPG engineers in technical projects.Assisting Genesis Energy operations and sales staff with technical information related to assets as needed.Assessing and managing hazards and risks to customer and public safety, ensuring effective control measures are in place and reviewed regularly.Overseeing maintenance outages and improvement projects, reviewing job safety assessments (JSA) and issuing relevant permit-to-work documents.Providing regular reporting on progress and issues across projects and in both corrective and planned maintenance works.Maintaining and updating systems, processes, and asset records, ensuring accessibility and compliance.Performing other related duties and fulfilling responsibilities as required.We have two permanent, full-time positions available. One role supports the Auckland/Upper North Island region and is based at our East Tamaki Depot. The other role supports the Central/Lower North Island region and can be worked from one of the following depots: Hamilton, Te Puke, Kopu, or Feilding. Due to the nature of the role, travel to sites within your region will be required. Please note: The internal title of this role is: LPG Asset Specialist.
About you You are able to undertake on-site field asset surveys and compliance assessments.An understanding of and experience in asset management and process safety.2-4 years' experience in an industrial environment, preferably in the LPG industry.A technical background including project management and asset maintenance would be advantageous.PTW system exposure and certification is preferred but not mandatory.About our benefits At Genesis, we value your wellbeing and your contribution to our team.
