Maintenance Contract Manager – State HighwaysNew Zealand Transport Agency – New Plymouth, North IslandTe Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunityAs our Maintenance Contract Manager, you will work with the Network Outcomes maintenance delivery contract and provide levels of service that meet both the technical requirements and the customer needs. The purpose of this role is to work with the state highways maintenance and operations service delivery contractor to achieve the specified customer and technical levels of service.Working alongside the Senior Network Manager, Journey Manager and other internal teams, you will play a vital part in contract management to assist in achieving the best outcomes for all parties, through collaboration and open communication. This is where your strong relationship management and negotiation skills will come to the fore. This is a varied role and other responsibilities include collaboration with contractors, promotion of the Network Outcomes Contract and monitoring the safety of the state highway networks.Ko koe tenei | About youTo be successful in this role, you will bring:Significant experience in contract management working with NZS3910Experience of relationship management, including contracting and expert dispute resolution capabilityProven ability to influence and negotiateStrong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to deliver a strong customer focus cultureCivil design capability and asset management experienceWhole of life design philosophyAn Engineering degree, or equivalentA Chartered Professional Engineer qualification (CMEngNZ or equivalent) is desirable.This is a great opportunity for a driven individual looking to make their mark.
