It is home to the award-winning Takapoto Angus, Takapoto Wine, and the Takapoto Estate Showjumping arenas. We are currently looking to employ a Maintenance and Event Support person to assist with the upkeep and expansion of this beautiful pristine property. Your focus will be on providing the best maintenance support for grounds, guests, and spectators.While working with the Maintenance and Event teams, this exciting and varied position involves:Maintaining buildings and event areas to the highest of standards; including but not limited to, washdowns, windows.Assisting with set up and pack down of events.Maintaining and cleaning of owners' assets; boats, vehicles, furniture etc.Upkeep of driveways, boardwalks, parking areas, decks, drainage systems etc.Managing storage areas, keeping them organized and tidy.Be willing to help in other departments when needed; including but not limited to; bar and café service, mowing, gardening etc. Be able to work flexible hours including occasional weekends when required for events.Demonstrate safe working procedures around all plant and equipment.Experience and attributes required:High attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent cleaning skills (are a must), the ability to see things most others don't.Experience in previous trade roles would be advantageous.A Jack of all Trades type who is willing to jump in where needed.Respectful and honest.Strong initiative and ability to work independently.Physically fit and capable.Why work for us?Work for a well-recognized company.Ongoing support and full training provided.Southern Cross Insurance, Wellbeing Initiatives and more.If this sounds like you, click apply.Apply online for this role or contact Katie for more information.
