OCHT manages around 2,450 affordable homes in Christchurch and is one of the largest community housing providers in New Zealand. OCHT is responsible for tenancy and property management, managing residential facilities providing tenancy management, and managing property assets and building new community housing to meet housing demand. This is a busy role where you will work closely with the Facilities Manager to ensure that reactive and proactive maintenance takes place within timeframes, provide performance reports, and configure systems as required. We are looking for an enthusiastic Maintenance Advisor who has experience in the residential housing and property sector. The role is responsible for the safe, timely, and cost-efficient management of reactive, vacant, and planned works. The role will require knowledge of property maintenance, understanding of building systems, scoping of vacant properties, and statutory obligations. Experience and qualifications requirements: Experience in managing maintenance, facilities, or domestic construction works in the residential sector. Working with diverse stakeholders. Understanding of the Building Act and related regulations. Desire to be part of a values-driven and community-focused organisation.
