We have exciting opportunities within our Marlborough Machine Operations Team for Vineyard Tractor Operators for entry-level and experienced operators.
We have both fixed-term (for the busy harvest period) and permanent roles available.
You will be working within a well-respected modern fleet of viticulture machinery providing an industry-leading service to our Marlborough Vineyards.

Your unique contribution
You will add value to the team through:

Tractor and machinery operations, spraying, trimming, defoliating, mowing, reposting, and other vineyard development tasks as required.
Harvest activities including machine and hand harvest operations.

The hours of work are usually 40 per week Monday to Friday, plus some Saturday work and extended hours during peak periods as required.
Your perfect blend of Talent

Tractor and/or machinery operation experience an advantage, but not required.
Ability to work with an iPad for internal systems, with training provided.
An interest in working with our Autonomous Vineyard Tractors (AVTs) would be an advantage.
Happy to work as part of a team as well as able to use own initiative.
Have good attention to detail.
Understanding the importance of workplace safety and following company processes and procedures.
This role involves chemical handling, and the successful candidate must be prepared to undertake agri-chemical spraying as part of this role.
A minimum of a restricted NZ driver's licence.
Please note this role is physical in nature - need to have a good level of fitness to meet the physical demands of the role (eg. able to lift up to 15kg, bending/lifting, turning, filling sprayers, post driving etc).
