Machine Operators - Auckland

Hick Bros Civil Construction are looking for full-time Machine Operators/Labourers to join our Auckland team.
We are offering competitive pay rates, guaranteed minimum hours with work based around central, east and south Auckland area.

Job requirements: Minimum of 2 years' operating experience on Excavators (GPS experience advantageous), Bulldozers, Graders, Loaders, Compactors, Rollers or ADTsMust be able to work full time Monday - Friday 12 hour days & 6-7 hours every SaturdayMust have own transport to & from work, full class 1Be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol testHave the legal right to work in NZ Ideally, you will also be: Able to work unsupervised with a positive work attitudeWilling and proactive in getting out of your machine to help on the ground as neededReliable and drug free, with a high work ethicUnderstanding of safe work practices pertaining to an earthworks/civils environmentKnowledgeable of, or ability to learn, operations outside of general dutiesWilling to assist with maintenance, clean-up and anything else that requires attention, as directed by the Site Supervisor or Manager What we're offering: Pay dependent on experience and skillMinimum guaranteed hours and a permanent full-time contractRegular reviews of pay rate based around performanceModern machinery including opportunities to train on GPSCompany sponsored team building and social eventsGreat work environment and personal developmentPlus you'll be working as part of an elite, high level team with one of New Zealand's busiest and most successful complex earthworks/civil and infrastructure companies.
