Description Iplex Pipelines NZ is a leading manufacturer and supplier of plastic pipeline systems in New Zealand. We manufacture and supply plastic pipeline systems for a diverse range of sectors including the plumbing & rainwater, civil, rural, energy & communications. We have approximately employees across operational sites in Palmerston North, Christchurch, Ashburton and Auckland. The role:Carrying out correct pack off processesEnsuring all start-ups, shutdowns and change overs are carried out correctly.Ensuring scrap is well managed and controlledCarrying out process troubleshooting and process corrective actions.Production process meets plan, and process non- conformances are addressed.Following standard operating proceduresGeneral Machine Operation -Ensuring all paperwork and quality checks are carried out correctly and any out of spec measurements are escalated accordinglyCarrying out correct pack off processesReplenishing materialsGeneral HousekeepingSafety awarenessPlease note our shifts are 4 days on, 4 days off - 2 days shifts 8am to 8pm then 2 night shifts 8pm to 8am.About you: A focus on health and safetyMechanical skills/aptitudePhysically fit as you may be moving loads up to 25kgSolid time management skills and reliability is keyBasic computer skills and attention to detail Good problem solver and effective communicatorReliable and punctual; able to work designated shiftsBasic literacy skills – able to read, understand and follow work instruction.The Offer:We understand that our people are our greatest asset, therefore, being part of Fletcher Building, you will have access to these awesome benefits:An industry-leading parental leave schemeDiscounts, lots of them.
