Machine Operator

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring product quality and production goals are met.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor machinery, ensuring proper functioning and safety protocols are followed.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machines to minimise downtime.
Inspect products for quality and compliance with specifications, making adjustments as needed.
Maintain accurate production records and report any issues to supervisors.
Follow all safety guidelines and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and resolve operational challenges.
Assist in training new operators and providing support as needed.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a machine operator or in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work a 12-hour shift schedule, including both day and night shifts.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and stand for extended periods.
Capable of working in a variety of conditions, including exposure to noise and temperature changes.

Requirements:

Living and right to work in NZ.
Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Complete all pre-employment checks.
