Headquartered in Christchurch, with a facility in Cromwell, our recent growth in the Otago region has created an exciting opportunity for a skilled individual to join our team.Job Description: In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for operating machinery, managing deliveries, and ensuring smooth operations at our Cromwell facility. Your primary tasks will include driving a Class 2 truck, operating a forklift, and cutting polystyrene insulation according to a cut-list using our hot-wire foam cutting machine. Additionally, you'll liaise with our suppliers and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly. This role offers an opportunity for growth and development within our organization.Key Responsibilities: - Drive a Class 2 truck to transport materials and products to various locations within the Otago region.- Operate a forklift to load and unload materials, ensuring safe handling and storage.- Cut polystyrene insulation according to a cut-list using our hot-wire foam cutting machine.- Liaise with suppliers and customers to coordinate deliveries and ensure customer satisfaction.Skills and Attributes:- Positive attitude and solution-focused mindset.- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.- Well-spoken, presentable, and able to maintain positive working and customer relationships.- Punctual and reliable, willing to put in additional effort when required to complete tasks.- Possession of a Class 2 license (or higher) and Forklift Operators Certificate.
