The Role: Due to further expansion, we seek an experienced Showroom based Sales Professional to join our Christchurch based sales team and work between our Hornby and Ferrymead Branches. This is a consultative sales role, based in the showroom where you will be selling to walk-in customers, as well as proactively following up sales leads, calling on your customer pipeline and ensuring that customers are given the very best service and enjoy their buying experience. We are keen to attract salespeople that are extremely hungry to achieve their sales targets and earn LOTS of commission. The Rewards: There is a big income to earn in this role, with a decent base salary and excellent commissions on every sale you make. There are not many retail showroom sales roles where you can earn over $100K. You can in this role. In fact, you can earn $150K+. (Top salespeople are earning $200K+). We need someone with proactive sales habits, who will go the extra mile, who knows how to take a customer on a sales journey and can CLOSE sales. The Role in more detail: Use a consultative sales approach to uncover customer needs and work towards closing a sale. Respond to leads provided from marketing and promotional activities, further qualify and turn those leads into sales. Uncover all additional opportunities to cross and upsell. Actively use CRM (Hubspot) to record sales leads and customer details. Ensure each sale is followed through with pre & post-delivery processes. Proactively invite customers in for demonstrations (This is a lot of fun!). Provide a pleasant customer experience for people visiting the showroom. Conduct in-home consultations, if necessary. Fulfil finance arrangements if needed. Attend sales meetings and participate in sales coaching and training. Keep up to date with all new products and participate in product training. Give basic technical advice for common customer queries. Opening and closing of the retail showroom. Ensuring point-of-sale material is organised, merchandising completed, and the showroom is looking great. Attend trade shows, expos or offsite promotions to assist with brand promotion and sales. About You: We would expect you to have sales experience, a drive and a hunger to be the best. Even better if you have B to C sales experience, preferably selling big ticket products. Enjoy a bit of banter with customers and can build easy relationships, gaining their trust. The ability to sell on value, rather than on price. Mastered a consultative sales process, presenting on features & benefits. Must have a driver's license. Above all, we are looking for those who will follow up every sales lead, manage their sales pipeline and go above and beyond to achieve their sales target. Hours: In this role, you will need to work 5 days. Weekends are busy and fun and when you make the most sales; however, we are open to discussing 1 weekend day off and 1 weekday. (This will however cut your earning potential down). Weekday hours are - 9am – 5:00pm. Sat/Sun hours are - 10am - 4pm (so great hours).
