At Compass Group, we have partnered with Air New Zealand as one team to create an incomparable lounge experience that people value and remember. We have an exciting opportunity for exceptional Lounge Assistants to join our team within our Christchurch Airport Operations on a Casual basis. Hours of work are on an 'as and when' required basis, dependent upon business needs.
Responsibilities: Cleaning and clearing tables
Keeping the buffet tables clean
Some dishwashing duties when needed
Some kitchen work when needed
Be hard working, reliable, and flexible in your ability to work
Having a friendly, outgoing personality
Must be able to lift 20kg weight
Have excellent communication skills and a 'can do' attitude
Have experience working in a similar position within a 5-star environment will be an added advantage
Hold food safety Unit Standards 167 and 168 would be an added advantage
Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrate a passion for people, customer service, and quality
