About this role:
A rare and exciting new opportunity for a role in our Corporate Planning team has come about and we are excited to offer you the chance to be part of not only this great team working across our district, but also a great organisation. This critical role will be responsible for project managing the development of the Long Term Plan, initiating an improvement programme following the Long Term Plan process, supporting reporting on organisational performance and managing other corporate planning projects when not working on the Long Term Plan.
What I do?
Lead the development and delivery of the Long Term Plan.
Monitor progress against targets and report on variances.
Build strong relationships with key staff across the organisation.
Provide expert advice and guidance on policy matters related to long term planning.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of planning processes and practices.
Support development and reporting of organisational performance.
What I bring?
You have at least five years' experience in project management.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Relevant tertiary qualification and background in Corporate Planning.
You think strategically.
You are a team player and have great people skills.

Hours of work: 40 Hours per week
