This powerful connection to the time-honoured celestial cycle further enriches our array of provenanced kai, offering our visitors an authentic taste of Maori culture.The Logistics Manager at Te Pa Tu plays a pivotal role to ensure efficient movement of our visitors between Rotorua and our Village location in Tumunui. This position requires a dynamic personality with strong leadership capabilities, who can manage people and resources effectively while maintaining high standards of service delivery.Key responsibilities include:Manage and lead a team of drivers, fostering a culture of professionalism and teamwork.Train new drivers, delivering thorough operational inductions including health and safety protocols.Maintain and manage the guest pickup schedule, ensuring accurate and timely coach departures as per the latest reservations updates.Oversee vehicle maintenance and ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.Maintain a detailed fleet maintenance register and ensure accurate record-keeping for inspections.Conduct regular checks to ensure vehicles are always roadworthy and operational.Oversee the Drivers use of the inhouse Health and Safety system and report risks and concerns quickly and efficiently.Act as the primary contact for logistical troubleshooting, addressing issues with efficiency and professionalism.Develop and maintain staff rosters aligned with operational demands and reservations schedules.This role demands excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
