About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Manager to join the Tait Systems team on a fixed-term basis until July 2026, overseeing and optimising our procurement, inventory, warehousing and dispatch operations.
This role has flexibility to be based in Auckland or Wellington.
Reporting to the Head of Build, the Logistics Manager plays a pivotal role in procurement, logistics and supply chain management for the PSN network.
We're looking for someone who can manage processes, drive efficiency improvements and ensure contractual obligations are met, all while championing a culture of safety and operational excellence.
In this role, your key responsibilities will include: Managing the Warehouse & Logistics service providers to maintain a high standard of efficiency and productivity.
Implementing processes to streamline warehouse activities and optimise resource utilisation.
Coordinating transportation logistics of materials and finished products to and from the manufacturing site.
Supervise, train and direct assistance of warehouse service providers to loading/unloading, receiving, sorting, put away, picking, and inventory control.
Have a high level of accuracy when overseeing and organising the delivery of orders to build teams.
Communicating effectively with stakeholders to address issues and uphold customer satisfaction.
Managing internal systems and resources to ensure adequate inventory levels based on a dynamic build schedule Working collaboratively with the wider build team to ensure timely deployment of sites.
Working closely with the Site acquisition and Design teams to ensure the correct information is provided for acquisition purposes.

About You We are keen to hear from individuals with the following skills and experience: 5+ years of experience leading warehousing & logistics functions in a dynamic environment (direct involvement in manufacturing would be an advantage but not essential).
Experience using ERP or similar systems.
Strong computer and technical skills with strong proficiency in Excel.
Exceptional interpersonal communication skills (written and oral), with the ability to build relationships across diverse stakeholders.
Knowledge of primary industries would be an advantage.
Good understanding of Mobile/LMR networks would be an advantage (but not essential) Great organisational and time-management skills.
Self-starter with the ability to self-manage.
