Drake International – Tokoroa, North Island Our client who is a well-established dairy provider is seeking a Logistics & Export Coordinator to join the team. Situated in the heart of Tokoroa, you'll have the opportunity to become a part of a global leading dairy company, with operations in 48 countries worldwide! An exciting opportunity to join the first plant in New Zealand. About the Job: The purpose of this role is to coordinate daily business activities in the warehouse and ensure the efficiency of export logistics and shipment processes that includes communication with local freight forwarders, warehouses, and transport providers. Please note this would be a temporary basis for 6 months potentially up to 12 months - hours of work are Monday to Friday 8:30 - 17:00 Key Responsibilities: Logistics: Manage import and export shipments and associated documentation working with 3PL's, freight forwarders, and internal departments, including production, supply chain, and warehouse departments. Coordinate warehouse and transport activities related to goods in and out with key stakeholders. Create instructions for warehouses and liaise with transport to arrange local delivery. Purchase orders & SAP: Request and review SAP generated purchase requests. Create deliveries from STO's and receipt from PO's. Generate sales orders in SAP and associated warehousing documents and process flows. Proforma invoicing for shipments. Planning: Participate in the weekly and monthly meetings with key team members to discuss: Weekly and monthly meetings to track shipment schedule and stock levels. Monitor and drive outcomes with transport providers and review service level. Communicate shipment lead times and delays to internal teams/customers. Stock reconciliation: Identify and resolve discrepancies in stock. Provide monthly stock on hand and commission reports. Summarise warehouse position and communicate with origin logistics team the variances. Address enquiries from the origin logistics team in a timely manner. Management of damaged stock in-line with procedures. Requirements: Minimum five (5) years experience in Supply chain, transport, or freight experience required. SAP experience an advantage. Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
