Ideally, we are looking for couples/pairs to host our guests at our newly renovated lodges in the Hollyford Valley, on a rotating roster.The Hollyford Wilderness Experience is certainly not your usual walk in the park - it takes our manuhiri (guests) down the Hollyford Valley following the path of Maori and early Europeans alike, by foot, jet boat and helicopter.
This position will see you hosting our manuhiri at our two remote lodges.The Lodge Host roles are for two people who work as a hosting pair to manage the daily operations of our lodges, providing our guests the highest level of hospitality and catering.The role covers all aspects of lodge hospitality (including hosting, catering, bar, housekeeping, maintenance and managing supplies) to ensure a memorable experience for our guests as we seek to share the beauty and manaakitaka (hospitality) that represents the best of Aotearoa (New Zealand).Whether you're a kiwi or coming in from overseas on a working holiday visa, we have an opportunity for you to stay and work amongst the stunning scenery of New Zealand's Fiordland National Park for our summer season 2024/2025.You'll get to meet people from all over Aotearoa and the world and have an experience you will never forget.
Combine this with a dedicated and supportive team environment, a hike through pristine NZ forest or a breath-taking scenic helicopter flight into Milford Sound as your commute to work.
