The Role: Where you fit in We are looking for an Otolaryngologist to join us to undertake some locum work. The main focus of the work would be to provide additional support in outpatient clinics and surgical operating lists and would not involve any on-call work.
We ideally are looking for someone to start as soon as possible. The Otolaryngology Department at Christchurch Hospital provides a complete range of secondary and tertiary services to Canterbury and other areas in South Island, with a secondary referral population base of 550,000 and a tertiary referral population base of 1 million.
Services are provided on an inpatient, day patient, and outpatient basis and are integrated with the Audiology Department.
Experience: Expertise in the field of Otolaryngology. Post Fellowship training/experience as required for a tertiary teaching centre. This position provides additional support in outpatient clinics, surgical operating lists, undergraduate, and postgraduate teaching.
