Our Infrastructure Operations Group is looking for an experienced and passionate individual to join us as a Local Waters Asset Management Team Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity in an area where there is lots going on! You'll contribute and support the protection of our Local Waters infrastructure interests by ensuring effective asset management and planning. You'll ensure our systems in place are fit for purpose. You'll think big picture, bringing technical knowledge to conversations that influence and enable our asset activities.
He korero mou - About you
You'll ideally have a degree in Civil Engineering or in Sciences, with knowledge and understanding of Three Waters and infrastructure asset management. Previously, you'll have worked in a similar role and will be well versed in relevant legislation and local government procedures and policies. Familiarity with NAMS and IPEWA International Infrastructure Management Manual is a bonus! You'll be able to think laterally and strategically, always considering how we can do things better. Bringing your ability to analyze, delve into the detail, but also see the long term, you'll be able to dive right in from day one.
